Participate in the annual harvesting of the grapes at Domaine Rabiega. The harvest usually starts during the last week of August and lasts for about four weeks.
The grapes for white and rosé wines are being harvest before we continue with red wine grapes, as they grow on a higher altitude at the vineyard.
There are several different tasks to be performed during a harvest, such as picking the grapes, carrying buckets full of grapes, unloading them to the belt and selecting out the best grapes to harvest.
The tasks will rotate during the day, so you will have the opportunity to try all the steps of the harvest process.
We meet every morning for a common breakfast while the Chief Winemaker Lars explains the process for the day. The lunch is served outdoors at the vineyard followed by a short rest under the olive trees. Once all the grapes have been harvested and stored in the barrels, you will have some free time by the pool before we enjoy a delicious dinner together at the Bistrot Rabiega.
The stay includes: 3-days stay in a Double Room (supplement charge for a Single Room), full board meal plan with drinks including a wine tasting and tour of the entire vineyard. Ideally, you arrive in the afternoon on day 1 and depart after breakfast on day 4.
