The Rabiega Vineyard

A well-preserved local heritage

The Rabiega vineyard has a rich wine-growing tradition, dating all the way back to the 16th century. The red wines produced on our estate have an outstanding reputation and are recognized as the very finest in its range.

Mrs Christiane Rabiega bought the property in the sixties and gave it its current name. The estate was later acquired by Swedish owners with the mission to develop prestigious wines, and the first steps towards the organic certification were taken. In the of summer of 2020 Domaine Rabiega was bought by Gastrodev Vin & Sprit AB, whose founders are Yohan and Blenda Adell von Corswant. Both passionate about food and wine and with a solid experience from Sweden, the USA and France. 

Domain Rabiega covers some 12-hectares, where among rows of vine and well-tended olive trees you also find a charming hotel and, next to the pool, the bistro, and the gourmet restaurant.

Award-winning wines

Award-winning chief winemaker Lars Torstenson and CEO Yohan Adell von Corswant share an appreciation of hard work and enjoyment of fine wines. They give the domain all the care and attention it takes to make it flourish and excel. A true labor of love!

The vineyard is easily accessible, located among charming Provençal villages. Here the elements have come together to provide the ideal conditions for producing high-quality wines.

The terraces of chalky clay soil are lined with carefully selected vines that face the rising sun making them thrive and in return offer remarkable grapes.

Olive harvest

Domaine Rabiega is as beautiful as it is exceptional for both grape and olive growing. Olive trees are native to the Mediterranean and thrive in a climate where the summer is long, hot, and dry and the winter is cool.

The harvest usually starts in the middle of December and lasts for 3 days. In the middle of December, the olives from the 170 olive trees at Domaine Rabiega are ready to harvest and pressed into olive oil.
