Water
As you may know, Draguignan has been in a critical drought zone since 2021. In our hotel rooms, all toilets and showers have installed water saving measures. But you can also help save water through some simple measures. Turn off the faucet when you shave or brush your teeth. Do not shower longer than necessary and keep your towels for several days.

As for energy saving, we would be grateful if you switched off the lights when you leave the room.

Please also consider if the air conditioning need to be on while you are lounging by the pool? It is always nice to get away from the heat, but the units are quite efficient and we promise you won’t have to wait long for them to cool your room once you return.

Thank you also for not opening the windows when the air conditioning is on.

Our estate also contains a hotel, restaurant, swimming pool, wine shop and conference facilities. This means that there is always something going on in the fields and on the estate. We therefore kindly ask families with children to keep an eye on their child and if you have a dog to keep it on a leash.

The paintings and drawings in some rooms and corridors as well as on the restaurant menu are made by Blenda Adell von Corswant. Blenda has also designed the labels on some of our wines. Are you interested in Blenda’s artwork please contact the reception.

We welcome all of our guests to enjoy a game of Pétanque on our playground above the pool.

Pétanque rules

Triplette – teams of 3 players, 2 balls each

Doublette – teams of 2 players, 3 balls each

Individual – 1 player, 3 balls each

-Start by drawing a circle in the sand in one end of the playground.

-The first player stands in the circle and throws the small colored ball called “cochonnet” (small pig). The cochonnet must land at distance of minimum of 4 meters and maximum 10 meters, depending on how experienced the players are.

-The same player then throws his/her pétanque ball aiming to land as close to the cochonnet as possible.

-Now it is the turn of the opposing team to throw their first pétanque ball aiming to come closer to the cochonnet and/or to hit the opposing teams pétanque ball to make it go further away from the cochonnet.

-The team that has it’s pétanque balls the furthest away from the cochonnet continues to play until they are closer than the other team or have run out of pétanque ball.

-The game ends when none of the teams have no more balls in hand.

-The team that has the pétangue ball closest to the cochonnet wins the round and gets 1 point for every ball that is closer to the cochonnet than the opponent’s balls. First team to hit 13 points wins the tournament.
